Install Check Reader

• 1000i

Step III
Perform a Dial Download for E-Chex

Edit GID 6 (E-Chex)

1. Press F2 and F4 (simultaneously)
2. Type in “1, alpha, alpha, 66831”
3. Select down arrow twice
4. Select F3 Edit
5. Enter
6. Select File Group_6
7. Type in “1, alpha, alpha, 66831”
8. Enter twice
9. Enter *ZP, *ZA, *ZT (Missing Values provided by E-Chex)
   *ZT=MID
   *ZA=Application
   *ZP=800.579.9948
10. Clear twice
11. Select Up arrow
12. Select F2 Download
13. Select File Group 6
14. Enter
15. Type in “1, alpha, alpha, 66831”
16. Select F3 Full Download
17. Select Modem F2

Step IV (if applicable)
Configure Imager 1000i

1. Must Power off Terminal before proceeding
2. Plug the imager cable (black) between the terminal “rs232” Port and the imager “com1” Port
3. Plug the phone line into the imager’s “telco” Port
4. Plug in the imager power supply and wait for the constant green light
5. Power on the terminal
6. Select Check and down arrow to “Configure CR1000”
7. Select “Configure CR1000” and Enter
